    PC changing expansion?

    Guys,

Done a lot of reading but not quite cast my first batch of bullets. Planning on PC'ing pistol boolits first with soft 40:1 alloy.

Has anyone noticed a difference in deformation or expansion with PC? Wondering if it provides a skin effect that holds the shape a bit longer at impact, especially with WFN/TC/SWC (not HP) molds.

    Thanks,
    Terry

I have not. The pc is a skin of paint not a hard or even malleable jacket so I find they still expand like lubed bullets.
