    You'd need heat even with the 242 grade. When they say you can remove with hand tools they're talking about a nut on a bolt, where engaged thread length is less than one diameter. But 242 loses 50% of its' strength at ~212 degrees, which won't hurt the zinc.

    From all the posts all over the internet of exact same issue made buy the the Ruger wrangler and never look back. Your issue is extremely common with the heritage from the hundreds of complaints across forums on the web. I liked the looks of the heritage better but it’s a disposable throw away gun imo.
