    Ohaus Du-o measure help

Picked up an Ohaus Du-o 7200 powder measure. Everything is there (including the cracked hopper and cracked lid!) except for two thumbscrews.

If someone has one and can take a closeup pic with maybe a ruler of the screw in question,,,, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I think this one has to be close in fabrication as it holds the small meter in place, and also carefully tightens the brass screw to prevent moving to hold the set charge.

I will try to attach a dimensioned picture. Just in case, heres a description:

Can be made from a 3/4 long 8-32 setscrew, or cutoff head of 1 inch long 8-32 screw, chuck in drill press and file dog point, put two nuts locked together for the ribbed section.

Your welcome. For your cracked hopper, I turned up a spacer to go in the top to receive a turned down Lee perfect powder measure hopper, which was a stiff fit into the adapter. This is the hopper with the black plastic shutoff valve on the bottom. I turned the hex part of the hopper semi-round. I like the Lee hopper because you can shut it off, makes changing powder easy. I shut off the measure, throw and dump back two rifle charges, lift off the hopper and dump back in the powder container, done! The SKU of the hopper is AP1646, but doesen't have the valve on it it is separate, SKU 91763. I found mine with the valve on them.

For your hopper, try Dramworx, use em for the Duo-measures I have and some others.
No I don't get any kick-back money. they just work

Here's the part #14, from the RCBS parts book maybe they have one. Try calling.

I have a Duo-Measure of some unknown manufacturer in a pale, sickly version of RCBS green, but the place where the (missing) reservoir fits is reminiscent of current Lyman units. It appears to have originally had a plastic(?) reservoir that was cylindrical all the way to the bottom and unthreaded. Any idea what I’ve got and how to outfit it with a replacement reservoir??

Froggie, yours was made by RCBS. There are no replacement hoppers available as Fred Jr Huntington's pitched them all as not necessary. Get the Dramworx replacement.

I got the Dramworx ones for both of my older RCBS that had the compression fit hopper too ( the light green one) with the large diameter hoppers. No more loose hopper and leaking powder, they throw more consistent loads due to the built in baffles and were worth every penny.
