picked up a weatherby badlands in 7mag. I have to say that it came right out of the box with the best trigger ive seen in a production gun. it breaks like glass at 2.5 lbs. My jaw about dropped the first time i dry fired it. rem winchester and ruger could take lessons!!
I bought a Vanguard in 30-06 two years ago when on the hunt for a budget bolt gun. $420.00 bux otd. Can't beat that. I've see no real reason to change anything. I'm not real happy with the plastic magazine and the fact that I can't push feed it. But, pfft, is what it is. It's been given a steady diet of the Lee 170's pc'd and gc'd. Subsonics with TightGroup, and a ladder workup with H4895, stopping at 39 grs. and it shoots 1.5 to 2.5" at 100 yds. I'll take it.

mines got a steel floor plate and you sure can push feed it. Ive never seen a vanguard or howa you couldnt.
Had a vanguard year’s ago in 308 was a great shooter should have never let it go
