    Gaschecks safe through silencers?

Are they safe enough not to come off inside silencers. Especially if a long bullet is seated with the check below the bottom edge of the neck in a shouldered case.

If the suppressor is on straight it shouldn't be an issue, if it isn't you already have a problem.

30 years ago I used wax gas checks they worked very well: That's something you may want to look into. Don't know who makes them now but you can research it.

    Like these? http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...wax-gas-checks

I would think wax build up in the suppressor would become an issue but have never tried it in reality I don't have a clue.

I've shot thousands of cast bullets with Hornady crimp on GCs through 22 and 30 cal suppressors w/o any problems. However, I do not seat the GC below the necks of the cartridges.
