K E Arms polymer AR monolithic lower.

Ordered from Brownell's. Got the FDE one with the milspec fcg. Mated it to a FDE Stoner slick side upper and 13" ultra light h.g. I had a Colt AR bcg, a 16" 1/8 light weight barrel and a charging handle on hand. Got a Seekins adj. gas block and ordered a captive recoil spring. Will probably upgrade the trigger. Going to drop a Sig Romeo red dot on it for now.

So far I am impressed with it. Fits the upper like a glove with no play. Will get out and shoot it today and post some pictures. I should also weigh it just to see how light it is.

With the Sig Romeo and back up sights she weighs in at just under six pounds (no magazine).

Hunting for an upper for mine at the moment. Did your lower come stripped of one of the assembled options?

    Gotta have pics......
If they are as good as the CavArms or Sabre Defense one piece lowers; they are Very good. My .300BO weighs 8# with a 4x Nikon on it and 30 rounds in it. And no play at all between upper and lower. Keep us posted, please.

Got the gas setting dialed in and a rough 50 yard zero with the staple gun stock fcg. This is my BDR ( boulevard defense rifle ). Gotta upgrade the trigger and get that captive recoil spring in.

I like it. The grip panels help I'll bet. Neat carbine, a beauty compared to mine.( CavArms)

The buffer spring KE uses is very heavy. Seems they don't want an over gassed situation to fully compress the spring and transmit the shock to the butt end of the polymer stock. I imagine some folks using an m16 carrier in an under gassed rifle will have cycling issues. I ordered an Armaspec 3.2 oz captive buffer to go along with the adjustable gas block. Should be able to tune it for proper function and light recoil. Hope there is enough mass for reliable feeding though. I swapped out the stock hammer with another milspec one I had on hand and got rid of the gritty feeling pull.

    Could you translate to english?

    Color this purple.

If you find any body that has a 5.7x 28 upper by CCMG or Atlantic Firearms in stock, PM me.

I just ordered a few to try out and they are getting in tomorrow. Interesting to see how they compare. I have had a gen II in FDE for many years. I originally got it to make up a 45 ACP AR15 that I could use grease gun mags with. Used it for a while and then got an alloy lower so the lower is free for something new.

Here is a pic of the Gen II in .45 ACP.

Got the Faxon barrel in it now. It is several ounces lighter than the barrel it replaced. If it does 2 moa I will be pleased.

building AR's is as bad as trying to find ammo these days. Working on getting a 450 Bushmaster built up. Got my Pantheon Dolo's parts in today to make quick swap between 22 Wylde barrel and 450 bushmaster.

I picked one up also on the pre order for no real reason other than to built a lightweight truck/hunting carbine. Seems decent enough. I have a trashy m4 profile barrel on it currently but need to find some sort of larger caliber barrel in a lighter profile.

Bolt carrier groups are particularly hard to come by. I did just order another KE lower from Brownells and also a BA 18" fluted barrel from Joe Bob's. Barrel weighs 32 oz. and will be plenty stiff so I'm putting conventional Magpul handguards on it. This one will be for reaching out a ways. Probably put a 4.5-14 on it.
