I’ve recently purchased several older and antique percussion rifles. I hope to shoot them all. Is there a chart showing the dimensions of various nipples and what would be the correct cap size to be used with it?
Thanks

You can always chuck the nipple into your drill chuck and work it down with a file. The old Navy Arms Pedersoli mule ear “Country Boy” I bought came with a nipple that took #12 caps and I wound up turning it down after #12’s became unobtainium.
