    Holster mods

This holster started out as a Galco Phoenix for my N frame 627. Its a pretty nice holster but I noticed that the "taco ends" were coming apart. Apparently they are glued not stitched and the adhesive was letting go. Ive only had it for a couple weeks. So, I decided to do some tinkering. I drilled 3 holes and added T-screw bases on the inside which I then covered back over and restitched. I then stitched the taco ends together as they should have been to begin with. I also added an 8oz piece of shoulder leather behind the belt slot and glued it all together to make it rigid. Now I can use any safariland adapter that I want 😬

All in all it turned out pretty good.

I will say I was pretty salty after discovering a $175 holster was glued together.
