Are deep fried hotdogs a thing? I ask because after my experience this afternoon, I am thinking they should be.
We had some bacon that needed to be cooked, and a pack of Ballparks that had been inexplicably pushed to the back of the fridge as well...
So, the bacon got cooked first, and then while the grease was still hot, I dropped in the hotdogs. Magic! They cooked fast, they cooked evenly, they got good and crispy on the outside... Mmmm, it was great, I can't believe I never thought of it before.
Is this part of anybody else's traditional hotdog treatment? What are your methods?
