    Case “Trim To Length”?

When cartridge load recipes are created by pressure testing do reloading manual publishers use the “Trim To Length” in their recipe or the SAAMI maximum cartridge length?

I’ve always assumed they would use the trim to length as cases don’t seem to be sold at maximum length.

I believe it depends on who is doing the testing-- which means it varies.

I cant remember which manual it was but there was one that gave the test firearms specifications and load procedures with the data. IIt was basic info but gave an idea of comparisons
