WTB - Ingot mold, powder coat materials

    Good morning all,
My 12 yo son wants to get into casting his own fishing stuff. we have the lead, pot and a couple jig molds but need an ingot mold for the wheelweights we have and stuff to paint them with. if anyone has any other fishing type molds let me know, we're always open to increasing our arsenal for fishing stuff.

    Thanks

the ww may be a little to brittle for fishing stuff, you could trade it for soft and probably have better results. a vendor sponsor on here sells redneck gold ingot molds. herters used to sell paint for fish stuff, think it was just model paint.

I formerly had a fishing lure/jig business. You want the soft lead for sure. It fills around hooks and anything else you are pouring around. It was well before powder coat was a thing, sprayed ours with automotive paint.

Thanks for the tip on using soft lead, That's what we've been using thus far. the WW will be used to replace it for casting bullets.

I'd prefer a Lyman or RCBS ingot mold. I can always weld one up myself if it comes to that.
