Bought this mold late last year just before Mountain Molds decided to retire.
The mold was specified to fill the cylinder of a .44Special so it has a long nose of approximately .450" crimp groove to meplat.
Meplat diameter is .300" so it's not a radical LFN and it also fit my S&W 629 and S&W 69 cylinders for length.
Two modest grease grooves plus gas check shank setup for standard .44 cal gas checks (Hornady, Sage, Gator, etc.)
Bullet drops at .432" and weighs 265 grains.
One cavity came with a score ring on the gas check shank and I never got around to calling Mountain Molds for a replacement. Nevertheless, the bullet shot well. Mold is excess to my needs.
