I use the Inline Fabrication led light on my 550. Works for me. Here is the link. Good luck.

I use Inline Fabrication's led light system. Has an overhead light. Goes into the hole in the middle of the press. And has a strip that sticks to the inner part of the frame. With a harness that has a switch to turn it on and off.

I have hornady, Inline and KMS. KMS is the best; Inline middle; Hornady last. Get a KMS.

KMS on my Dillon. Don’t know how I got along without it.

I looked at them and decided to order one. Between the two should be plenty of light now. Thanks.

I had one of those car jumpers with the inclosed motorcycle batteries, w/ light and air compressor.
Well the battery in it went bad so I harvested the LED light strip and mounted it to my press.
Plus I use the little compressor for bicycle tires.

What makes the KMS better? I've been very happy with the Inline Fabrication's setup. What am I missing?

    Semi-private rant:

"Lock-N-Load" is a corny marketing label laid on almost everything Hornady sells these days; it almost makes me grind my teeth in irritation. Through their massive overuse of the term, "L-n-L" has lost any meaning it might have once had. It's gotten so repetitive that it's silly. IMHO.

However it's done, light is really good stuff. A well lit press and semi-gloss white loading room walls are very good. I prefer to use 4 foot overhead LED "shop lights" (about $15 at Walmart).

I just put up three 4' led lights in my reloading room (small bedroom), the ones from Costco that are programmable. Work nice once you figure it out. The Kms light goes around the outside edge which looks like it gives better coverage. Between that, the Inline, and the led lights on the ceiling, I should be good and blind.

I had the Inline Fab light first - it broke and I got the KMS a few years ago and stuck with it; I like the UFO light-ring.

I printed mine on my 3D printer. I need to get the adhesive LEDs to mount to it and decide if I want to wire it for AC or DC use.

Totally irrelevant to the topic but I've gotten so fed up with Hornady's love of slapping "LnL" on nearly everything they sell that it's turned me off. It's like they have no idea where the expression came from or what it means so they use it as a cute marketing ploy. Gag.
