    Gas checks and suppressors

I’ve always heard that a loose gas check could damage a suppressor. Has anyone ever heard of it actually happening?

If you’re shooting subsonic rounds to get the maximum affect out of a suppressor why would you need a gas check?

Hunting rounds in my case. I don’t try to optimize the efficiency of the can when my target is game.

Crimp them on and it shouldn't be an issue. If were one to fly loose at 2000fps I imagine it could do a number to the baffles.

Yeah, I'd probably use a form 1 can if so. I had to wait too long for my Sig cant to risk damaging it.
