Intersting old Redding I had not seen?

Looks cool and compact. Saw it on ebay.

HOLLYWOOD Collector Left hawg 405#, right one 315#, had my elderly neighbors granddaughter treed and why I got the call. Both charged, one from 20' and one from 40'. Thanks to the good Lord and Samuel Colt I won. May God bless our Lawmen & Soldiers!

    Interesting
Looks like it takes a special shell holder.

Here's a better pic of the shell holder.

It takes a typical "H" shellholder. Redding made their own. C-H will also fit.
It's a weak design, the C arms will break under load. This press has the later reinforced arms. The press dates from 1957 to about 1960. It lived a second life as the Lachmiller shot shell sizer.

I've got a Lachmiller shot shell sizer that is really similar. I'm eventually going to see if I can convert it to a general purpose de-priming tool or something along those lines.
I like the tiny footprint and simplicity.

We had a Blue Lachmiller, it seemed a bit strange to Me. We used it for the new Winchester AA cases. But not the Federal paper hulls. I guess I asked why back then, but don't remember the answer.
I just remember it was the first press I was allowed to run by Myself.

Happiness is a Warm GUN & more ammo to shoot in it.
