WTB Lee 3 hole turret press ram

Hey fellas I picked up a Lee 3 hole turret press and the ram does not have the cut out to accept a shell holder. So I guess I need a new ram? Maybe someone has an extra one laying around? Not familiar with this press and from what I can find out they are no longer made. Thanks in advance!

Lee doesn't support anything with the 3 hole press but check anyway! Should be easy to carefully grind a notch in the rear of ram just enough to clear the screw. Indexer should fit right beneath the shell holder clip.

I agree with deltaenterprises. Sounds like you have a Pro 1000. That and the "turret" press both take the same three hole removable turrets. The difference is that the turret press turns the turret with each stroke of the ram, where the Pro 1000 turns a base plate and the turret is stationary.

Watch when you stroke the handle to see what moves. The Pro 1000 has a base plate with three cutout shell holders, where the turret press only has a round ram. I have both and can send pics if it would help you identify what you have

Most of the parts are still available and free except shipping. I think you might only need to pay for the carrier/shell holder. Scroll down to the Pro 1000 Complete Carrier section here:

Here are a few pics of the turret press and Pro 1000.

Hope these help you identify your press. The later pics are to show how it looks with the carrier removed. I think that's what you have. Just the base frame without the carrier. The carriers are available (or were) for around $40.00.
