    Belted 9mm ??

I was doing a quick sort of a friends 9mm range pick-up brass before SS pin cleaning and spotted this little 9mm gem. I don't recall seeing something like this before and thought I'd share pics. The ridge seems too pronounced to be a sizer line/ridge.

I think you found a sample of the legendary .35/.40 supermag.

Out of battery discharge , most likely a blowback operated firearm

well don't I feel silly. I just dropped it into a case gauge and it plunked right in until the ridge.

Do not feel silly I have seen them before in a batch of 9mm I was shooting from a hi point carbine , have also seen the 9mm fired from a 40 s&w , it sounds real weak and does not function the pistol , my fault there as I did not have my readers on and a couple 9mm got into 40 batch .
