    Are the empties valuable?

I have some old powder tins. The powder still smells good and with the availability problem today I want to use the powder. Will the empties still have some collector's value? Or is this whole collector's value thing a passing fancy?

Empty cans do seem to have a genuine collector demand. Seems like a lot of people prefer the empties as easier to buy, sell and ship. Of course age and what they are can cause a big variation in value.

I have 6 to 8 old cans of powder even a large Winchester cardboard type container. Anyone know about these. They all have good powder in them. Not sure how to add pics yet,but will try.
