Yes, donor action was from a smoothbore .44 Garden Gun. John bushed the firing pin and fabricated several rifle barrels for it also in .38 Special, .44-40 and .45 Colt. The 10x25mm was a collective brainstorm concocted by my friends and I. We wanted a small capacity case using common .38-40, .40 S&W and 10mm bullets. Cases are simply necked down from Starline .44 Russian in shortened and neck honed Lee .38-40 dies by DougGuy. No case trimming or neck reaming is needed.

The ENEMY is listening.
HE wants to know what YOU know.
Keep it to yourself.
Ball & Williams Ballard sporting rifle in .44 rimfire, circa early-mid 1860s. I'm making reloadable rimfire cases and will soon be shooting it
Picked up a Smith Carbine Artillery Model at the show last weekend. "Cases" are on the way and I have the powder, bullets and lube. Now, if the CCI Reanactor (sp) musket caps will light it off I'll be good to go. Pics to follow.
Not a rifle, but well made and very effective within its sphere- my newest Yildiz folder
. 410 - it may become a rook rifle of .32 H&R persuasion some day.
As a bunch of you roll your eyes, here once again is my little H&R/ Green Mountain 44 WCF carbine. Fun all day and will hunt, too.
And last but not least, my 510 Targetmaster Remington. It's spooky how well it makes me shoot.
Someday, I want a seven pound rolling block or highwall chambered in 30-40 Krag. I should sell the group above to get started on saving up for it......
Naww.

so are we having HASSENFEFFER TONIGHT?
now that is truly a SINGLE SHOT!!!
how are you making rim fire cases?
If you are asking about my Ballard in .44 rimfire, the question is best answered in my videos. Making the rimfire cases is shown in a two-part video series. The third video is shooting the Ballard with these cases.
