    Preventing Corrosion on Reels

I have found that Corrosion-X is wonderful stuff at preventing corrosion on my Saltwater reels. Was so impressed that I started using it on my blued-steel firearms and it works great on them too. Anyone else using it or what works for you?

Never used it but you piqued my interest I'll be looking it up today . I don't surf fish more than twice a year for a week at a time but have always just washed off everything with a hose real good at the end of each day and don't really have any corrosion issues on the alum spools or other parts
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Buy an Alvey Reel, they last forever. I am still using my Grandfather's and I'm a Grandfather myself.
