    Wtb 32 cal bullets

I'm in need of some 100 gr WC 32 bullets to shoot in my Unique 32 auto pistol. Any one have a coffee can full setting on the shelf they would part with?

    Thanks,

    Greg

Full wadcutters? I have some DEWC’s from an arsenal mold. They are powdercoated, and cast of 50/50 + tin. They are unsized at this time, but are probably .314”. Pm me if interested.
Due to the price of primers, warning shots will no longer be given!

They have to be WC or DEWC as the magazines are VERY short.

Was reading a thread about the LW Seecamp 32 acp pistol and one of the posters said he uses 1.5 gr bullseye and 310 round balls in the Seecamp. Have some button end wad cutters powdered coated and unsized that weigh 93 grs. Could send you a few to try. Pm if you want to try a few.

Have you tried wadcutters before in that Unique pistol?

The usual .32 ACP origin of rifling is abrupt with no throat.

Normal overall cartridge length for the .32 ACP cartridge is 0.95-0.98" whereas the case length is 0.68". If a full wadcutter is seated deeply enough to "plunk test" and permit the slide to close fully the bullet base will intrude deeply into the powder space, dangerously spiking pressure. An overall cartridge length very much shorter than 0.95" will likely not feed.

I would urge you instead to seek a bullet of proper design intended for use in the .32 ACP cartridge in which seating depth does not exceed that of factory FMJ rounds, not greater than .25". Accurate 31-081H is a well-proven design which cycles the great majority of pistols reliably with 2 grains of Bullseye or TiteGroup at 0.95" OAL.

If your Unique pistol instead is chambered for the .32 S&W Long flush-seated wadcutter cartridge, for match shooting, and NOT the .32 ACP, then a full wadcutter bullet is appropriate, but that was not at all clear in the OP.

It's a S&W Long chamber not a 32 ACP. I currently shoot Fiochhi 100 grain full wadcutters in it. It will stack them all day long in the X-ring. The magazines are so short only a flush seated WC will fit hence the WC request.

They of course make 32 ACP pistols but this one is one of those exotic versions that ruled the pistol world for many years that I had lusted after since I shot BE against them in 1980.

I have a pile of 91 grain swaged (Hornady?) and a pile of 83 grain cast many moons ago and I don't remember the mold I used. Send me your email for pictures if interested. Thank you, Michael

It's a 32 S&W Long auto. Unique DES/32-U. I'm sourcing some new grips form Europe for about $225.00. This pistol and a 22 Unique were owned by one of the attorneys that argued Heller in front of SCOTUS.

    Greg

Bonus pic of the 22 and the magazines for them. The 22 magazine inserts from the top.
