    CZ 527 bolt handle

Purchased a used CZ527 in 223 left hand ordered an extended bolt handle from Glades Armory should be here in a couple of days pretty sure it will fit. Tried switching a handle from one of my right handed action and it hit. Bolt handle clears the scope barely hopefully the new handle will have more clearence.

    .

CZ527's require medium or high rings, with Burris rings @ 50% the cost of CZ rings, and the correct height for most scopes.

(scopes with huge bells are contra-indicated)

Rifle came with high rings but scope clearance is still very close .
The 4 other CZs I have are the same bolt handle clears just barely. Objective bell on scopes are 42-44 mm.
The bolt handle was $66 including postage.

Depending on the vintage of your CZ 527 the bolt handle will vary. Somewhere around 2013-2014 CZ modified there bolt handles. The newer ones have about 1/8" more clearance than the earlier ones. The difference is the amount of metal above the bolt lock hole. The small dimple hole that locks the bolt when the safety is engaged. The newer handles have less material above the dimple.

The fat eyepieces on many newer scopes cause clearance problems for many of us, especially those of us with lever-action Marlins.
