    German 16 ga. black powder shot shells

    Here is a box of 5 "modern" black powder paper shells. Head marks are: RWS /GECO and ROTTWEIL.

    Any body know about these ?

    They don't appear to be all that old - but interesting anyway.

    Just saw your post, I think these were imported in the 80's or 90's. I have seen some boxes with the Navy Arms logo on them as well. I would guess they were intended to appeal to people who had old guns that were originally meant for black powder (or maybe for cowboy action shooters as that was becoming popular then)
