    long 410 wad

does anybody have a source for the long 410 wads for single ball loads like the ones bpi sells with their slugs. bpi sells the slug and wad together but I just need the wad

    https://www.ballisticproducts.com/LG...tinfo/0721641/

(just noticed bpi has them by the case but really dont need that many)

BPI also sells just the wads, however you'll have to buy a bag of them. They don't have packages of 25 unless you buy the slug kits.

https://www.ballisticproducts.com/LG...tinfo/0721641/ $6.99. However, temp out of stock.

    Check back.

your link is for both the ball and wad, I just want the wad, but thanks.

after a long search I did find the wad by itself but you have to buy a whole case and I just wanted a few to try out.

Maybe, just maybe MidwayUSA? I'm just getting into .410 reloading as a -This Winter- project. I got everything I'll need, and some stuff I probably won't, from BPI and Midway. 2 1/2 and 3 inch Cheddite primed hulls, No.7 shot, felt wads, over shot cards, WAS410HS replacement wads, Stretch wads, Small Bore Manual 10th Ed., Cheddite Reloading Manual 3rd Ed., MEC 600 Jr. Mk.V press for 3", a BPI roll crimp tool. I'm also going to be looking for supplies to be trying some ball and slugs. A bag of wads just isn't that expensive if you can find them, and a bag will last an ordinary shooter quite awhile. .410 isn't the most popular thing to reload, and some components still seem to be available.

if you guys want to split a case I will order one, only wanted a few to try and then planned to buy a bunch if they worked but looks like they would be 30 bucks a hundred give or take on reshipping costs

Well @ $6.99 for 25 wads with the piece of buckshot I don't see y'all saving a lot of money paying $30 a hundred for the wads. LOL Gp

I could go for half of the $30 plus shipping from you to me after you get them. So you could send me 50. But, if someone else wants in on it I'll take 25. If you decide to do it, PM me with your address and I'll send you the funds.

never thought about that. sometimes we get so rapped up in doing it ourself we miss a solution. 30 bucks with the slug beats 30 bucks without it.

Rancher: I looked at my post later and thought," I hope that didn't sound harsh" LOL I hear ya. Sometimes it's hard to see the forest with all those trees in the way. I bought a few of those from BPI and used their data. They work fine but I need a better 410 or at least a way to get sights of some sort on my break barrel. Gp

Hence the link to the kit of 25 ea. for $6.99?

Maybe you should just spend the $7 and try them out. You could use the balls in your slingshot.

sorry, I did not even look at the details because I assumed that with out the ball they would be considerably cheaper, and I was focused on just finding the wads.

Euro 36 gauge is what we call .410, so the .36 gauge stuff on the Gualandi page is correct for .410 loads.

thats good to know, thanks. kinda wondered why they did not list 410's when they are supposed to be real popular over there.
