Are you ready for the Anti-christ?

"Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction..."

    2 Thessalonians 2:3 (E.S.V.)

Is the anti-christ a real person?

Are there signs that will predict his coming?

Is it possible to be ready for him?

If so, how is that readiness accomplished?

    What do you think?

    (See 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12)

"There is not a single instance in history in which civil liberty was lost, and religious liberty preserved entire. If therefore we yield up our temporal property, we at the same time deliver the conscience into bondage." --John Witherspoon, The Dominion of Providence Over the Passions of Men. 1776

"The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times." Psalm 12:6 (E.S.V.)

Don't have to worry about him KJB doesn't mention the United States: probably because we are already toast before he comes.

The man of lawlessness was Nero, who murdered Christians and set himself up as being God. The tribulation was the tribulation of those Jews who rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah. They were slaughtered by the Romans at the siege of Jerusalem in a.d. 70. The apostle Paul was addressing the Christians of Thessalonica with his explanation in 2 Thessalonians

There are only two kinds of men:

    1. Those who know Jesus Christ is both Creator and Sovereign Lord.

    2. Those about to learn that Jesus Christ is both Creator and Sovereign Lord.
