Depending on the availability of components, I try to shoot 200 rounds a month to careful skills practice, and probably 50 - 60% that much MORE in competition. So that's ~3600 - ~3840 rds./year.
THIS year, I have found it more difficult to cover distances necessary to participate in competition as widely as in the past. QUITE near the middle of 2023, this situation will change. Until that time, I plan to max-out my available ammunition stocks, as I wait.

Usually 2500 to 5000 through Gatling guns, 3000 to 5000 through the Maxims and Browning 1917, 3000 plus through sub guns. Various pistols, lever guns, and old rifles about another 2500. I keep 4 Dillons and 3-CH'S plus a Hornady PRO 7 busy! Sometimes I feel like I have spent a week in Vegas working the Slot machines!!!!

Less than I should, but enough to keep the edge fresh enough, I think somewhere around 2500 a year or more...I dunno, might have to start counting.

    Not including rimfire

    2020 - 5654 rounds
    2021 - 4467 rounds
    2022 - 8688 rounds
    2023 - 4952 rounds so far

I guess I shoot a lot. I didn't realize how much until I was asked. Compared to others I do shoot a lot.
Except for 22LR I handload everything I shoot. I keep a spreadsheet of all my handloads so that's how I have the specific numbers.

Would be more, but one shot at a time of .45-70 from a Sharps replica limits me. Rounds per year that is, not tonnage of projectiles launched.

I'm shooting much more rimfire now, 90-150 a week, but my centerfire shooting is way down, last year I barely hit 2,000. 90 dollar primers are reducing my shooting.

Hard to say as I don't keep any kind of count. I used to keep all my shotshell primer boxes until I got to about 24,000 and finally decided that it wasn't worth having such a pile of empty boxes taking up space so threw them in the trash and have had no idea of count ever since. I got to the point that I hardly shot due to work and money being short. Then I retired a year ago and all of a sudden, I have infinite time and more money than before to shoot. I'm still in the process of finding out what is a normal amount of shooting for retirement. I know I've shot several thousand rounds last year. That's a mix of all sorts of handgun and rifle. Shot several thousand rimfire too.

Not as much as I use to since moving to a much more populated area. Gun club is about 30 miles away but then you're limited on what kind of practice you can do.
I'm probably at around 2500 but I suspect this year will be more as my employment situation has changed and I'll be able to scoot to the range midday and midweek instead of getting home from work throwing a pile of gear, targets, ammo & guns in the vehicle driving 30 miles and hoping the plinking range is open (you can shoot long guns and handguns at the plinking range).
    Now to re-inventory my primers

This poll needed a lot more categories over 1000. I do that every month. I've done that in a couple of minutes even.

I shoot a LOT of cap&ball revolvers because I can make everything they use. I have found reasonable sources for small pistol primers and even 209's, but my large primer stuff is mostly not being used.

I'm sure there is a reason large primers cost three times as much as small ones - but the reason behind it doesn't really matter I suppose.

If I get over to the east side to shoot sage rats, I will easily shoot over 1000.
If just shooting for fun, insert plinking here, it will be more like 500.
