I assume they only make certain molds periodically, once they have enough orders.

I'm a transplant, really like the area but I see a LOT of what's here is new.
Warning: I know Judo. If you force me to prove it I'll shoot you.

It loves the Lee, 170 gr., 8mm bullet, gas checked and sized to .321. The Haenel likes it pretty well also. You could try that for not much money....if that mold is available. I have several different 8mm's and so far, components have been readily available. I assume because 8mm isn't as popular as other calibers. I ordered a couple hundred bullets and a collet for my puller yesterday and they were in stock everyplace I checked.
reviving an old thread here, but I just came back from the range today with my Haenel/Aydt and it actually slugs out at .314 which really surprised me! I found this out after trying out some .32 bullets that a friend had given me when I got the rifle from him.
Another member here gave me some unsized .314's that he had powdered coated and they seemed to work fine .
I am still working on accuracy but with a light load of Trail Boss it will hold 6" on a windy day at 200 meters with the irons on it, and a bit bigger when I shoot it offhand.
Really a fun rifle too shoot!
This was last Spring when I had the Lyman on it and today with the irons- which are not correct but work!
