    Yep, that was it. I went for the new carrier because I didn't know any better.

    It just happened with my 444 and I am trying to figure out the above instructions or if there might be a simpler, if temporary fix.

    I had the same problem with my 1894C. The boolit would catch on the sharp edge on the right that was put there for the extractor to catch the cartridge rim. I tried several things which didn't work. I finally sent the rifle to Grizzly guns in Montana. Lew fixed it and did a few other things. He replaced the magazine tube and spring. Price was reasonable and the rifle now feeds SWC ammo that it did not before. I'm tickled.

    ive had jam with Winchester 94 BB 375 when I first started running cast bullets through it--OAL needs to be exact it turns out. but never a problem with the marlin 375.
