got it from my sister on my birthday in sept last. good weather to day so took it out on the deck to shoot at 25 yards to see if i had to hone the front sight and move it. to my surprise it shot a tight little group from a hand rest at 25 yards to point of aim. dont have to do one thing to it it is good as is. i did redue the forcing cone as i always do on all my revolvers. the cylinder was good as is. shoots to point of aim. now im going to reload for it and shoot it alot. relly like the gun. had a 1875 uberti remington and didnt like the feel of it. however this 1858 conversion feels great in my hands. will keep it and shoot it alot. uberti has never ever disapointed me. all i ever do to them as all my revolvers is redue the forcing cone.
