I will always have a coated nonstick pan but I find them to be expensive and they just don't last very long. They only get used when I absolutely must use a non-stick pan. What I use for everyday use are "black steel" pans. They are as non-stick or more non stick than teflon, but they can't be used when the cooking calls for having liquid in the pan for any length of time. That will remove the seasoning that must be there for them to be non-stick.

There are fancy and expensive versions, but I prefer the more restaurant quality sort found below. They have completely removed cast iron from my kitchen. Correction: I still have a CI griddle in the kitchen.

I'll vouch for the carbon steel "I've got the same ones" and cast iron. I ditched the nonstick pans years ago.

Made In USA ...manual can opener .
That's the name ... Made In USA and it's a Five Star Winner .
Built like a Sherman Tank , smooth , sharp , easy to open cans with .
Well made , well finished , cushioned gripping handles ... Sharp Cutters !!!
Even my wife , who has a lot of hand strength issues , can open cans with this bad boy ... and that's saying a LOT . The opener is made in the USA ( NOT China) and I absolutely Love it !
I've been opening cans at every opprotunity because it's so easy and fun to use .
Tired of China Junk ... Buy Made In USA ...made in America by Americans and Made like it supposed to be made !

    Lodge- Kickoff Grill

In need of a small portable charcoal grill? I bought one of these and is an excellent grill for two people. You do need a charcoal chimney, to start the fire, and a dome cover helps boost the heat. This cast iron grill is American made and with minimal care should last a life time.
