    Copper Vein

Since youse guys finally got me into this last month, I've got a no-brainer/quick&dirty system put together with an PID controller (thx Hatch), a Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven, 10-Zillion Airsoft balls, a stack of various-sized Tupperware containers to do the the pre-coat, a 2nd/cheap vibrator tumbler, and Eastwood Mirror-RED*/GREEN*/BLUE*/YELLOW*/SilverVein/CopperVein/OrangeYellow PC.

Trying to mix some of the Colors/Metals didn't impress me worth a darn. And I also discovered that (A) Color Wheel combos of Red/Green gets you Georgia mud -- not yellow; (B) the Color/metal-vein combos didn't really do well; and (C) the metal "veins" by themselves don't stick much at all in the shake method.

Being persistent, I stuck a really anemically-covered copper vein bullet into the oven anyway, baked/cured for 30 min, and then threw it back in the TupperWare shaker. 30 seconds later and it looked like a tick-invested hound -- completely/TOTALLY covered in the powder. (weird)

    And a really nifty effect....

(Bragging-at-the-range purposes only.... the Mirrors are otherwise 1-shot and you're done.)

    * The "Mirrors" give you Mahvelous 1-coat coverage

often adding a little of a second color will help the first adhere better.

There are two systems for color, see the link. Might help you a bit in your quest:

    https://www.colormatters.com/color-a...s-rgb-and-cmyk

Note that inkjet printers use the CMYK system, and I believe that laser printers do, as well. Paint artists use the RGB system, as do color TV screens.

30 seconds after pulling them from a 400 degree oven? I’d be afraid it would still melt my container. What temp and container did you use? Did you have any overflow at the base you had to trim off?

Mirror red and copper vein. About 50/50.

    Would you believe....

    OVEN @ 400
    Pure Copper Vein
Shake 5-8 min almost nothing looks like it's sticking
    Bake anyway
Cycle 1: 30min Cold to finish
    - Cool to RoomTemp

Shake again for 30-40sec. Total/rich coverage
    Bake again
Cycle 2: 30min Cold to finish
