    Yeah--that's a good 'un! I've got the 2nd edition, 1978 if I interpret the Roman numerals correctly in the publisher's information. I don't know if was since updated and re-printed.

    I bought it when it was new ...still have it and a few others ...always wanted to be a Gunsmith but never had the talent , tools or time to get above Amateur . I could do some nice stock work thanks to Herter's Semi-Inletted stock blanks .

    Great book with some neat projects and how-to's in it ! One of the better books .
