Anyone shoot lead bullets in Kimber 357

I'm interested in getting a 38 or 357 this summer. I was set on a new Python but the new Kimber Target 357 looks interesting.

I know this model is new. Does anyone shoot lead in any Kimber 357? Just wondering how they do.

    I have a K6s DASA 3inch....
Shoots most any factory you put in it.
Tried lead and could find no difference [hard cast]

Just wanted to make sure they don't suffer from tight throats and big bores. I only shoot lead.

Are you shooting 38 or 357 , light or hot, soft or hardcast.
Much depends on your load and specific gun.
    Also how good you are............................
I once shot 100 yds often but my eyes aren't what they were.
What I consider good and you will be different .
Had some revolvers that shot allover the place with light loads [target] but with heavy loads were tackdrivers.
Changing bullets , style , length ,size, hardness CAN have an effect.
But you just need to shoot it.
Even two guns made the same day can be different.
Kimber guns being of a new production equipment will be closer but you just cant be general with out many ones out there over a long time.

I haven't loaded any cast yet for mine, but I did measure the throats. They came in at .360 ! I have a mold and sizer die on order, but it will be a while before I can test it our.

We shoot only cast lead in my daughter's 3" K6s, and accuracy has been on par with our S&W K-frames.
I'm not sure where all the money is that I've "saved" by casting and reloading!

The large throats make me feel better. Glad to hear they are on par with S&W. I'm wanting a revolver sooner than later

A K6 Target followed me home last week. Smaller and lighter than my M19; trigger is very nice but not as good as the 40 plus year old 19. It is getting better with dry-firing. Haven’t checked the throats yet but hope mine are .360 as well; that would make ammo management much easier. I ordered a Simply Rugged pancake holster and think this will be a better K-frame for my purposes than the M19, which has a lot of sentimental value.
