April 2020, Photo Contest, SPECIAL EDITION: Covid19 Lockdown

I am posting April's contest early, due to Minnesota's (and 30 some other States) orders to "Shelter in Place", I am setting aside the normal topic selection process, to open it up to any casting/reloading/shooting things that you are doing during this Lockdown. No older photos rehashed, please. Only new photos of what you are doing during this Lockdown.

I am using the individual forum titles as the monthly topics (going from the top down).

Well, unless I get really bored, I don't plan to do any reloading, casting, etc. I already have lots of ammo reloaded and store bought already on hand, before the virus scare. I think that I might try my hand with powder coating some bullets to see if I can do it though. I did cast up the bullets a while back. I just hadn't got around to doing it. I am not sure what my wife will think or do with me using the oven for it. I did break out my AR pistol just in case it gets ugly around here. Short and compact makes it very handy.

I got so bored I turned the compost pile. That's serious!

I'm on a tear cleaning and organizing my reloading room. It's the old coal bin for the house. First, I taped up the sides of a giant pizza box to make a carrier for targets. Always had trouble carrying more than one or two at a time, and they were forever slipping out of my hands.

Then I decided to put shelves everywhere I could. Click image for larger version.

Converted my stash of pewter vessels into tin "boolits." One of these in a pot of lead is just the right proportion. Click image for larger version.

Finally, I made a pistol rack out of scrap wood. There used to be a shameful heap of pistols, in boxes and holsters.

Used a SAECO 61745, cut the lube grooves out (using powder coat), then drilled it for making it a HP mold. Makes 500 grain boolits that get pushed with 18 gr of H110 for a soft subsonic load.

All these molds are on their way to the dumpster. If you can guess my address you can get them out and keep them.
