Are we going to close this group buy soon? Sorry, I'm anxious to get the molds list to MiHa so he can start; fingers crossed.

    Thanks,

I was under the impression the the only holdup was that Miha was purchasing a CNC lathe to manufacture his own HP pins so he doesn't have to rely on outside vendors for orders like this.
Maybe that will result in a smaller number of mold orders required for a group buy since he won't have to order hundreds of pins to make it worth his time and effort.

    jessdigs,

Thanks for the heads up, sir. I didn't know. I'll have to ask a good friend of mine, who, believe it or not, lives within walking distance to MiHa's business. Yeah...........

    Mornin Guys,

You are both correct. There has been a pin issue with his supplier. He also just took delivery to a new Hass machine yesterday, but I dont know the status on the CNC lathe he was trying to purchase. I've got a text into him and as soon as I get a response (I'm asking if the 65g and 75g molds can be closed) I will update you all and push to keep these moving.

Yep, folks. I got the same information from my friend who lives nearby MiHa. Nice machine he bought.

Fingers crossed; lets hope there's a short learning curve on the new machine, right? Lol!

bp- I can change you to GC, however I see that you wanted NLG, if you want GC, you will have to leave the grooves in... Let me know which way you want to go.

I've got you updated! Personally I think that's the better choice... pushing the 65 or 75g projectile out of a 556 at any long distance it will require a GC...

That got me thinking...would there be any down side to shooting a grooved boolit with a alternative coating (Hi-Tek, most likely) instead of lube and still running a gas check with it? I suppose this would be compared to a NLG design and relying on the coating to prevent leading. I may switch as well as I hadn't considered that option.

Actually, I think this works well. I do some of loads as Hitek and then GC on top of the coating. It simply provides extra protection from leading.

Did some reading and I'm going to go with that. Please switch me to a 3 cav HP brass, grooved and gas checked. Forgot you can use the blank pins for a non-hp boolit.

You'll be pleased you moved. I put you in slot #6 of the HP section.

    Lakehouse2012-

Good day, sir! I would like to jump into the group buy, if there is still time:

One, 3-cavity brass mold, HP and grooved with gas check.

    Many thanks!!
