    I agree, about the only regular .22 rifles that I remember having slings were ones that were carried coon hunting at night.

    Seemed like no one knew abut using a ling for support while shooting either.

    My father taught me the benefits of having a sling on a rifle from the time I first started shooting. Both for carrying and for support when shooting.
    I have always had a sling on my hunting rifles.
