My blue 140grs NLG 9mm bullet on the last photo is from 357-130 mould that drops exactly.357”. When I PC I get .3585, which I then used unsized in my .357.

But for my 9mm I size back to .357”. So yes you can use them unsized BUT be aware of your diameter and what diameter you want and it will work for you.

I am casting coating and shooting , but if your mold casts large then after coating you may be to big , I have had some molds cut to size to cast to shoot without sizing , so many molds are cut larger then caliber because they are meant to be squeezed down to usable size , I enjoy your sharing photos and posting this for us to see thank you

I’ve found a few of mine in berms and the powder coat has held up quite well.

Looks like those hollow points are doing well!!

Here’s a lee 300 grain .452 I found that I loaded HOT out of my long gone Ruger American 450BM. It was close to a max 460 S&W load. I found it in the dirt back stop at 100 yards. Lost all my hornady GCs in the process. I used smokes powder and tumble coated.

And here is a pic of some Lyman devastators I loaded light with trail boss out of my 2.5” S&W 44 mag nite guard. I was shooting at 2 wood pallets at 15 yards. They were laying next to them. I would assume the one on the left has powder burn blow by on it from an improper seal as it was a minimum charge. The one in the middle puckered and swallowed a piece of wood. Looks like they all ate a little pallet. I’m guessing these were shot at 450/550 FPS? Also COWW alloy. Maybe the black is a wood burn?

Powder coat sticks really well. I've shot steel plates with soft lead bullets where the bullet expands to about quarter size diameter and thickness and the coating is still stuck on it.

Here's one fired with a 458 SOCOM and into a berm of dirt. 300 grain NLG at about 1600 fps.

Well, if I had a good lubesizer I'd probably not be using PC. It is a lot more time intensive to PC than it is with a one stroke lubesizer.

There are other advantages to PC, like not cleaning lube out of seating dies, or having bare lube exposed outside the case. And no touching of bare lead when reloading.

    In reference to post #10:
It is very informative that you got an increase of 350fps by merely adding a gas check!

To get this look, mix some white with black, dark blue or dark Green, I think this was dark Green with white.

If I may give a tip. This in no way to give Smokes powder a bad review!!
I always apply my powder to the bullets in a sandwich baggy tumbled in my HF wet tumbler. I was using Bacon Grease as my coating, and the bullets just weren't getting totally covered. There was about 1/2 teaspoon of loose powder in the bag so I knew there was enough for total coverage. So I added probably only a 1/16th of a teaspoon of a second color to help completely cover the bullets. In this case I used Smokes Silver, but I have learned in the past that whatever color I used was of no concern. It just had to be different than the original color. An the small quantity of the second powder made no difference on the color the bullets.
