    Shooting Chrony Out of business?

I tried to call both of their phone numbers and sent them an email concerning a damaged chrony I sent them for repair and have not received any word back. Both phone numbers are no longer in service and I got no answer from the email. Anyone know if they are still in business?

Hope not I was thinking I need to upgrade. My second Caldwell is failing and I hate that piece of junk.

Anyone find out what happened to Shooting Chrony? I sent in a unit to see if it could be upgraded or traded for another model several months ago. No one replies to emails anymore and the phone number says it's no longer in service. Website still works, but I fear they have gone out of business. I called MidwayUSA and Brownells too. Neither seem to know anything.

Ok. Thanks. I filed a complaint. Don't know that it will do any good or if I'll get my chronograph back.

Drew, What problems did you have with the Caldwell. I was thinking about getting one that I could hook up to my smart phone.
    Thanks Dave

My Shooting Chrony is out of business. Put a 240 grain 44 caliber right through the display. First thought was, "should have hung that target a little higher". I was able to get 20 years of service without issues from it.

Competition Electronics ProChrono DLX Chronograph is the deal for 130.00. I had 2 other Chronys over the years. The Chrony was junk compared to Competition brand. You got Bluetooth hook up to a app on your phone that stores all your data for future reference.
Body of the chrono is solid compared to Chrony which though metal case the guts were brittle and easily damaged. My 2c's

And not enough intestinal fortitude to put up a page on their website announcing they are closing.

Lots of business die when the owner does. No idea of that is the case but it went out with a flash (no close outs on remaining inventory etc) and no one in their right mind would close a business and keep paying to advertise for it (web page) so it could have been prepaid for some term, why it’s not already gone.

Tis is sad in a way. Just a sign of the times. Not to dispare someone in China will decide to clone it. My printer quit this year. The rest of the machine works. I will replace the Chrony with another chronograph when the Chrony dies.

    Take Care
