    Starline brass question

I seem to recall reading somewhere on the web that Starline 357 mag brass has the correct profile for loading wadcutters. Does anyone have any info on this?

Yes, I’ve already tried emailing Starline and have not received a reply.

The 32s&w brass l had was not good for wadcutters as it had an internal taper that bulged the case with cast and crushed the base with HBWC. I don’t know about your brass. You could measure free seating depth with the appropriate drill bit or gage pin.

Thank you. I was surprised Starline didn't get back to me.

Same here. I put as little True Blue in the case as I possibly can while still getting a full, clean burn of the powder. Gives me about 900 fps from a 3” barrel. Entirely comfortable, while not feeling like a .22LR.

    Starline brass question

I’ve never heard anything regarding .357, but I’ve put together some very accurate loads in them with 148-grain solid base wadcutters, pushing them over 1,000 FPS.

DO NOT ATTEMPT WITH HOLLOW BASE WADCUTTERS!!!!!!
