F I N A L L Y talked a distant relative into selling me a Model 3 Smith and Wesson that a common ancestor carried in the Civil War. Definitely not museum quality, but ivory stocks and I have fired it. It goes with the Model 1 that the father of the same gentleman gave him on his way to war.

I picked up the base gun for a 41 Special project. A Ruger old model flat top in 357 magnum, serial # 17xx, puts it right at the start of 1956 production for the old model blackhawks in 357 magnum.

I wouldn't sacrifice such a collectible revolver, but this one is already missing the cylinder, ejector rod and ejector rod housing.

The stars aligned, getting me the parts needed for my 41 Special.

I picked this Gem up at my LGS yesterday after a 10 business day wait on my cashiers check at the auction house. Ruger Redhawk (45 Colt) that was transformed by Clements Custom Guns. Happy Shooting! Boats

That is simply awesome! Wow! I had no idea such a thing existed.

Found this Llama "Extra" at a local gun show this weekend. 9MM Largo / 38acp. Seems very well built and an exact copy of a Colt 1911 except the slide is 3/8" longer and the barrel is 5 1/2".

A S&W Performance Center M1917 copy in .45 ACP / AR. Best one I ever owned.
Listen! Do you hear it. The roar of cannons, the screams of the dying! Ahh! Music to my ears!

This really stupid Mark I Desert Eagle in .44 Magnum that I bought back in January and can’t shoot cast bullets in because it’s gas operated with a microscopic gas port and polygonal rifling to boot! But hey I have about 700 jacketed .44 bullets squirreled away. I have shot it once and it’s surprisingly soft shooting and accurate. I’ve always wanted one but could never justify it until this one popped up at the right time for the right price. It really is a silly thing but I like it enough that I think it will probably find a way into my permanent collection.

.45 Colt Redhawk is on my bucket list. Every time I see one which is not often at all I don't have the money. When I have the money I can't find one for sale.

Here's another one from the gun show last weekend.

Colt 1917 Army, US Property marked, made in 1919. What caught my eye was the blued cylinder. Sometime in its life
someone replaced the 45acp cylinder with a, probably, New Service 45 Colt cylinder.

My 2010-era 3-inch Ruger SP101 in .327 Federal Mag should be arriving in 3 days. My previous purchase (a few weeks ago) was the 2010 (single-year-production) Ruger Blackhawk in .327 Federal Mag.
