I know you invested a lot of your own money to make this happen originally. Now, it's time to recoup!

Sorry, I missed this message last night.

Channel locks are my choice, vise grips work good. I dont like the fixed handle because its in the way when I go to flip them over after pouring. With the Channel locks, I let them cool a few minutes and then grab the block and rotate the mold on the opposite edge, that edge never leaves the ground and its more than enough to pop the ingots out and no handle gets in my way.

I use the Horrible Freight Vice grips. I buy one for each mold.

I received my molds this pm and they look great. Now I need to melt something to pour in them.

There is no problem so great, that it cannot be solved by the proper application of high explosives.

Do you have any with no text?

How long to cool before dropping the ingots? (@68F) I am wondering how fast I can cast with two molds.

    Thank you.

    None without text.

The first batch cools within 5 min before you can flip them out. Depending on how fast you melt, you probably wont be able to outrun the melt, with 2 molds. I'm melting tonight, have about 500 lbs to get through, takes 1 hour to get the pot melted and cleaned, 5 minutes to pour. Here is a pic of my antics tonight...

52 lbs from the first pot, and another 60+ is in production

I use 4 sets of molds plus 2 old 1# Lyman and Lee. I fill all of them then start dumping. I seldom get ahead of the game. My pot holds about 70lbs.

Finally used my 2 "Cast Boolits" molds , first 2 "runs gave me 120 + lbs. of cleaned up range lead. Love the way they stack !

Got a half dozen 5 gallon buckets of old wheel weights, I "need" 2 Redneck Gold molds for those !

Please confirm availability and total via PM .
