    The "Do it all" 454424

For your consideration here is a "smart" version of the 454424 cast bullet. This one will have 3 hollowpoint options as well as 3 hollow base cavity options. You can't have both in one mold so you have to decide which way you want to go. What sets this cast slug apart is for those who have oversize cylinder throats in their 45 this mold will allow you to "tailor" your hollow base so that it will slug up just so for your particular application.

The Hollow Point option cannot be combined with the hollow base option. There will be 3 HP pins included with your mold. Large, cup, or Penta point pins will be included. The drawing gives you the weights for the various pins as well as the nose to crimp dimension and the meplat.

Sign up like usual. I realize we are on the tail end of Summer and guys (except the dove hunters) are not quite starting to gear up for hunting season but we are going to get an early start here. As always please sign up in the following format so I can simply cut at paste. Do not get fancy with your email address because if Miha asks me to decipher it for him I am not likely to have time to do it. So if you will please just post it like this:

    castslughooter AT polka DOT com

This mold will be available in 2 or 4 cavity brass blocks. I also need you to tell me how many cavities as well as how many molds. If you leave something off and get a message from me, please go back and do another post with all the correct information so I do not have to go hunt your original post down. Otherwise again, I may not have time to correct your omission. I will post prices as I get them from Miha. I suspect due to the required pin count this mold might run for some time.

2 molds. There are a significant number of sixguns out there that need this cast slug design. I have a 1917 45 ACP with .455” throats. It’s a perfect candidate.

I would like a 4-cavity, brass mold, with a hollow base, and pins to make a flat base also.

This would be a great one..... but three years on and it hasn't even made it past discussion.

I’d be interested in a hollow base version.
