    Some old U.S. Rifles

    Getting ready for a show, Thought someone might like to see these.
    A lot of the history of US rifle development there.

    Spencer Model 1865 Indian Wars Campaign era. Stabler Cut-Off Device,

    Thanks for posting them.

    My shooting partner had a Sharps and Hankins. Was there a Navy issue? with a leather rapped barrel?

    Very nice rifles, really like the 59 Sharps and the Bridesburg. Interesting buttplate on the 59 Sharps.
