Al Nelson has given me the rights to join his team and HONCHO and inventory run molds for him. Whats different you might ask??? The amount of molds to run is 10...so turn around time could be as quick as two weeks in some cases.

I only plan to run basic boolits in standard weights and configurations...or boolits that will never make the 20-25 mold minimum. You will sign up here and you will receive a 15% discount for signing up during the group buy period.

    Up first.....

N.O.E. 360-160 WFN- Al has all the tooling for this mold already. This design has never been offered as a standard offering on his website. We need 5 to get this into the active and 10 molds to run.

I see guys jumping from the “other” group buy to this one...

Id like either one of these but see some GB’s are YEARS out.

Is this one expected to be quicker? Is this why thisnone was created? I have never used the other makers molds only gear that they are good. I have a few NOE and KNOW that I like them.

I understand no gaurenties as we need numbers to make this a go. But whats everyones opinion, do I jump there for her or gamble and stay on both and hopefully leave one when the other comes to fruition...

CW. This does not have a GC option and is a good bit lighter than any other mold offerred right now. Would make a great subsonic 9mm, 38 Special Boolit or light 357 magnum PISTOL boolit cast soft.

We try not to run conflicting buys. I primarily asked Al to get back into the GBs on here to cover that void where some boolits will never make minimum. Like the Full Wadcutter. It will make 10...but never 25. I figure these will be in your hands somewhere from 7-10 days from the time it closes.

Speaking of this "ACTIVE: MiHec 359 Hammer GC/PB HP or GC/PB Solid Version "

Its 170g vs 160g so pretty close to me. I like a PB for these GC is less of a concern since PC and now I really only use/need on rifle bullets and even then, I don't push my cast hard so probably don't "need" a GC at all.

    OK, Ill jump on here..

Sign me up for: One, 3 cav alum, W/all pins, in .358dia & PB (If no 3 cav available I'll take a 2 cav)

I would suggest getting the 4 cavity aluminum if you’re looking for HP. Doesn’t come in 3.

Will they come with a top punch?

Also when you mentioned 357 mag you said pistol. Is there a reason this wouldn’t work in a 357 mag rifle?

There’s no GC option. Might limit how hard you can push them. I have never had a problem with it but some do. I’m going to shoot this from a rifle. Will come with top punch.

Just properly powder coat it. I have shot PB, BHN15, PC bullets, to nearly 2K with zero leading.

Oh yea that makes sense. Didn’t think about that there wasn’t a GC option.

Ok well I know I want one but I can’t decide whether I want the solid or HP. I’ve never owned a HP mold.

Go with the HP option and just swap in the included solid/flat pin if you only need a FP. Options are best.

If you go Solid thats all you will have.

So the HP mold with the flat pin will make the same boolit as the solid mold?

Is it any harder to use with the flat pin then the solid mold?

Yes you get whats listed above when choosig a HP design mold.

HP casting can be lil more difficult. Im a beginner with them too. (Casting for thirty years tho) Using the advice I requested here, its been CAKE.

    Clean the mold

    Heat Cycle the mold.

Get it hot and keep it hot! Esp those pics. You may need to run the lead a little hotter. 7-725 degrees.

I have cast some 50# thru mine so far. Its been trouble free.

Ok well I’ve made up my mind on what I want to do but I just have one question. What would be the benefit of going with a .360 instead of .358?

If you have a gun with a larger bore. Marlin. Gives you more options. Lately I have been going with 358. If it casts at .358 or .359 I can coat and shoot as is. Saves a step. None of the custom mold makers can account for the million different alloys that us as rookie metallurgists come up with so I think they safe side it. Thats the biggest complaint I had with lee. Normally they dropped right at or a little less than the diameter of the bores youre shooting. Limits your options. .358 should work fine...unless you know you have a marlin with a larger bore than 357 or right at .357.

I would get the 5. If you like it and decide that this is your go to boolit...you will want the 5 for production sake

All fixed up Gents. This one is now active.

AND.....We are halfway. So you could have this one in your hands in the month of April if we hit ten in a week or so.
