    1911 45 holster to fit up to 2.5" belt

    This is something I made for myself for Wild Bunch shooting but decided I want more tilt on the holster. It fits a full size Government 1911, even ones with rails on the bottom. 12 oz leather, hand sewn. Fits up to a 2.5" belt on the backside. 45.00 plus 12.00 shipping. I take Paypal, checks or USPS MO.

    Question: I see no retention strap or device. What keeps it in?

    I made it for Wild Bunch matches, and a retention strap would just get in the way and slow things down as we draw and shoot on the clock. The gun fits pretty deep in the holster and works for most uses. I could and have made holsters with retention straps, but this isn't one of them.
