I got to shoot my 50-90 with the 650 gr bullet from Montana Bullets , I loaded 100 gr of Swiss 1F and got a velocity of 1346 fps which shot into a 2.04 " 3 shot group . I know there are several factors but I was needing some ballpark moa figures or let me know where to look and or how figure. I looked at Hornady and used a .512 DGS bullet for my 1st try . Thanks

I got my Brooks mould and had a chance to cast some bullets , my first try with bottom pour was not good but I borrowed a ladle and things worked out well ! I haven't casted many bullets but I will say I have been VERY impressed with my mould !! It seems to cast all of the bullets very constant . Thanks

If the 45-70 is the 30-06 Govt. of the Black Powder Cartridge Rifle (BPCR) hunting world, then the BPCR 50-90 Sharps Straight counter part is the 375 H&H. The big 50 is a stump buster.
