Is there such a thing as a primer brisance chart for small rifle primers?

I’m running some pretty full loads of H110 in my 450 bushmaster and using Remington 7 1/2 primers. I’m getting about a 100 FPS lower reading every fifth or six round and am trying to rule out my primers or crimp method. I’m wondering if there are hotter primers than the Remington 7 1/2 I’m using since Im under the understanding that hogden recommends a hot primer with a full load.

Primer Brisance chart

Primers are not measured in "burn rate", but by their "Brisance".
Brisance - is a measure of the rapidity with which an explosive develops its maximum pressure

Here are the results of a test done to determine the brisance of primers. The testing was apparently done with a homemade ballistic pendulum, which left a lot to be desired. So, don’t take this as gospel but as a rough indicator. It does show there are great differences in primers

Thanks Larry, I did find that chart you posted but didn’t see small rifle primers listed or my 7 1/2 rem I’m using in the mix to see where I stand.

Accurate Shooter posted extensive LR primer tests, but I couldn't find nearly as much info for SR primers.

Looks like the Remington 7 1/2 small rifle primer is about the biggest torch on the block.

OK, I think I am operating now under "information overload". I don't see any comparison of Small Pistol Magnum primers and Small Rifle Primers except the thickness of the Small Rofle Primers is thinker than pistol primers.

I think I am on solid ground using Small Rifle Primers in place of Small Pistol Magnum Primers. I will load 15 rds of .357mag under my Lyman 358429 bullet and run them over the Chrony. I have data using SPMP. If it works out OK then I should be good to go until next spring when primers might be more available. Up here they do not exist right now except for the ones now selling for around $9.00Cdn plus shipping & taxes. Why do I think we are being raped on pricing right now? I do have a memory and some retailers may end up off my Christmas list!

I can't speak of other manufactures, however, I know people working on the Federal primer line and others as ballisticians. Federal priming compound is tested to have the same burn and pressure rate same as they do with powder so within the standard tolerances they use they are consistent from batch to batch and year to year.
