    Quality cartridge makes brass for the 9.5x57 M-S. I used to make it but quit now.

    Quality Cartridge brass in 9.5x57 MS is $3.25 each. You can make much better cases by reforming 30-06 brass. I prefer to use Lake City military brass, not only because the military brass is slightly thicker, but there's no cartridge name on the headstamp, so there's no problem with someone else confusing it with something it's not. The shoulder on the 9.5x57 MS is lower than on the 30-06, so the resulting case necks will need to be turned to remove the excess thickness. I'm using unfired brass from pull down ammo, so the neck/shoulder has already been annealed, but I anneal again after forming.
