    Max Temp for cooking

Smoke - What is the max Temp for for cooking the PC? I believe that when I set my oven to 400 it is not at 400 - my new oven thermometer reads at about 370. If I bump the oven temp (only goes 25 deg at a time) the thermometer and the digital temp on the oven match.

If I bump the cooking temp to 425 is that going to damage the PC????

My oven goes to 450 deg. and my bullets to not slump after 30 minutes of cooking.

sorry I just saw your post ..
    if I do my math correctly indicated 400 but actual is 370 .. that's a .93 multiplyer
so setting your oven for 450 should get you about 418.5 or real close ..
You should have no issues at an actual 420 oven temp

Thank you - I was concerned that the higher temp would harm the Powder Coat. Not worried about the lead - I have heat treated to 450.
