For pistol my go to is Unique, but with a high pressure flash I do not use it for rifle reduced loads straight wall cases is IMR4198 and bottle neck cases is H4895, to me there is no one powder fits all

Only loading pistol calibers right now, but Bullseye and W231/HP-38 are what usually use. Been thinking about trying some Trail Boss though.

I'm getting to be quite a fan. I have been working up loads in a 416 Ruger with it and they are quite good without being kicked to death. Powerful enough to use for whitetail, too.

I use Titegroup for 9mms, .38 special, .45 ACP and .44 special. W296 for .357mag, .41 mag and 44 mag. I try to keep it simple, have only been reloading a couple years and this is as far as gone.

It would have to be Unique, but lately, I find myself using a lot of 700X in a variety of things. I came into a pretty large quantity of it, and it is very useful stuff.

    For pistol loads, Unique & Bullseye (.41 Mag, .45acp) and AA7 (10mm).

    For reduced rifle loads, (30-40 Krag, 30-06, .375H&H, .404 Jeffery), AA5744.

Tight Group and Unique. I have better powders but one thats seam to work well in reduced riffle and pistol work are those two.

Unique works better in pistols and Tight Group works better at reduced riffle.

Bullseye for me as the only rifle I have is my 357 magnum ruger 77. However, since I've added 327 fed mag to my caliber list, red dot appeals to me more and more. As I read and research, it seems to be something I want to experiment with. I have a pound of it to start off with. My son has a .243 and I might try the 13gr. red dot load with it as well.

I live real close to an indoor range with a 57 yard rifle range. I load "midrange" loads for indoors as follows:

    .223 14 grs 2400 under 55 gr. Hornady 2267
    7.62X39 14 grs 2400 under 150 gr cast Accurate 150T powder coated
    .308 16 grs. 2400 under M-80 pull downs (147 fmj)
    .30-06 18 grs 2400 under Hornady 150 fmjbt, 3037

All shoot more accurately than i can shoot.

    For hunting:
.30-30 18 grs 2400 under Accurate 150TG gas checked powder coated. It has not bounced off any whitetail or feral pig yet.

I used to use Unique but it measures poorly in small charges (9mm and 380). Now I use Power Pistol very slightly slower than Unique so Unique data works fine. PP is a small grain power and measures like a dream. Just like Unique it is great in pistols and does reduced rifle loads very well.
